Victory Bridge

Construction: 1994—1996
This project for the Florida Department of Transportation, District 3, included the construction of a new medium-level bridge across sensitive wetlands and the removal of the existing bridge across the Apalachicola River at Sneads, Florida. Items of work included drilled shafts, substructure and superstructure concrete, AASHTO girders and concrete deck placement. Most of the work was performed using the “top down” method of construction to protect the sensitive wetlands.
