Berth 212 Wharf
Client: Tampa Port Authority
Location: Tampa, Florida
Construction: 1998—1999
This project for the Tampa Port Authority included the construction of a 100′ by 750′ pier at the Port of Tampa, Florida. The pier was founded on 460 each prestressed 20″ concrete piles that supported cast-in-place concrete caps and precast concrete deck panels. The deck panels were topped with 6″ of microsilica concrete. The project also included dredging to a depth of 36′ in front of the pier.
